Rolfing™️ / Structural Integration with Andrew Rosenstock
An awareness-based bodywork treatment that focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Fascia surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels, organs, and nerves, binding some structures together while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other.
Rolfing works to lengthen, stretch, and soften this tissue to restore postural balance, ease of movement, and a feeling of being more at home in your own body. It is practiced in an organized series of sessions or individual sessions within a framework that is designed to restore postural balance by aligning and integrating the body in gravity.
Rolfing can be helpful when chronic stiffness, compression from injury or surgery, held postures that inhibit fluid motion, or repetitive motion is keeping your pain levels up.
This bodywork is a holistic approach in how it approaches the self through one’s physical layer and can permeate through to assist with freedom of physical, psychological, and emotional blockages.
Rolfing is traditionally delivered as a series of Ten hands-on physical manipulation sessions called "the recipe". It is based on Dr. Ida Rolf's (the founder) ideas about how the human body's "energy field" can benefit when aligned with the Earth's gravitational field. Each session according to the recipe focuses on a specific area of the body on the path of complete transformation. While the tradition is for a Ten session protocol, it is not always required and Andrew will work with your needs and requirements to craft treatments that fit your body’s and mind’s desires.

Be Open
Maybe you think you need to be secretive so your reader can “prove themselves.” (Don’t be that person.) Just know that the more you share with your reader, the more your reader will share with you.
Be Prepared
It’s helpful when you know what you are going to ask the cards in a clear mind. Meditating before the session or perhaps a warm tea can help to get better results.
