New Moon Cacao Ceremony with Nacho: The Knowledge of the 4 Elements
There are many myths and legends around Cacao, but they all seem to have a common thread: when man becomes careless with nature, Cacao comes to help restore balance.
For six weeks, Nacho will accompany us in three private ceremonies, aligned with the energy of the Moon cycle, where we will enter the depths of this medicine and explore the mysteries of the power of the Four Directions.
In some cultures, the Four Directions represent different aspects of the natural world, such as the four seasons or the four elements. In others, they may reflect different stages of life, with each direction representing a different phase from birth to death. The four directions can also be seen as symbols of different aspects of the human experience, such as love, wisdom, strength, and courage. No matter what culture you come from or what your beliefs are, they all offer powerful energy to work with.
How exactly Cacao Ceromonies works?
We will open this work on the Full Moon of November 8, where we will anchor together the prayer to the Four Directions.
Our second ceremony will be on the New Moon of November 23, where we will open the doors of knowledge of the four elements.
To end this cycle of work, on the Full Moon of December 8, we will go through the four ages of the human being in a prayer.
When Cacao is respectfully consumed with the intention of self-transformation, this medicine works in a unique alchemy. It can act as a powerful heart opener, connecting us with our intuition, the natural world, and unseen guidance. Cocoa can awaken powerful creative energies and enhance our inner vision. Ultimately, it teaches us about cosmic balance and how to start living more in alignment with the laws of the universe and Mother Nature.
A Mayan legend tells us that whenever there is an imbalance between human beings and nature, cocoa comes out of the tropical forest to open people's hearts, and to return the planet to a state of harmony. Some shamans therefore consider cocoa as the 'food for change'. It represents the new order of love and peace, which is being cultivated right now.
