Kundalini Yoga Experience with Kaypacha

The Experience

We'll begin with an hour of yoga followed by a discussion on the relationship between Mars (adrenaline glands) and Pluto (Kundalini). Mars is the lower octave of Pluto and is the manner in which the desires of the soul (Pluto) are willed into action (Mars). Kaypacha will take Mars through the twelve signs of the zodiac to demonstrate the twelve different expressions which are also influenced by other planetary relationships.

Do you have the extra energy you need to keep up and keep going when the going gets tough? You may have energy, be eating and sleeping well, but you may become irritable, tired, and snappy if your adrenals are stressed. Glandular balance, and in particular, strong adrenals and kidneys, give us that extra edge, help us control anger, and stay calm.

This kundalini yoga experience will help you center, strengthen your adrenals, and give you the energy to go for it!

Here is an excerpt from Jacques Martel’s “The Complete Dictionary of Ailments and Diseases: From A to Z” explaining more concerning the adrenal glands, otherwise known as the suprarenal glands or surrenals:

GLAND —  (suprarenal):

The primary function of the suprarenal glands is to produce the stress hormone called adrenaline, along with cortisol and cortisone. The function of these glands is to regulate the pulse and blood pressure and to enable the body to sense dangerous situations (fear, confrontation, survival, etc.). They are linked to the solid parts of my body that keep me in contact with Mother Earth, therefore with the material world, with my basic needs, and the acceptance of the bodily part of my personality.

When this center is in disharmony, I am endlessly concerned with my material possessions, I distrust others, and I am never satisfied. When I feel fear, stress, or worries (real or imaginary), my behavior will be aggressive, angry, and impatient, especially when my surrenals are over-working. When they are in default, I easily become discouraged, I put things off until later, and I don’t want to face my problems, preferring escape. I lack the courage and the will to face life.

When I feel panicked, in danger, or am really in danger, my perception may be different, but my body will immediately respond to any stressful and tense situation that it senses as threatening, whether this situation actually materializes or not. Thus, we can see that the body responds seriously to the warnings that stress can provoke. It will lack coordination.

I can relate this danger to a situation in my life where I am afraid of losing time, money, a reward, a spouse, etc. because I made a ‘bad decision’ or took a ‘bad direction’ in my life. “Am I on the right track?” I want to go very fast and very far in one of the areas of my life, but that requires great determination and judicious choices, and I won’t allow myself the right to make any mistakes, although this is, in fact, just another experience in my life. Hence, an intense level of stress.

I sometimes have the impression of ‘losing my bearings.’ I may be living in fear of losing myself, in the proper sense of searching to find my direction and my way in a given situation or my life in general. I may also feel that I am lost or that I am losing myself by not following my basic values and trying too much to please others.

I risk feeling dejected. I feel like the sheep left far from its herd: I feel isolated, a little lost, on the fringes of society, disoriented, without any bearings. I wander here and there, not knowing very clearly what direction to choose, like a vagabond. I feel on the fringes of society. I sometimes have the impression that I am hallucinating. I may be experiencing an impossible Love because I am mistaken about my feelings or because the person is inaccessible. I can’t take my place; I mustn’t be seen or known.

The surrenals are located above the kidneys, which are considered to be the seat of fear and sorrow. The adrenalin that is released when I am in a state of excitation can have the effect of stimulating me and making me creative or, on the contrary, can cause me to harm or even destroy me. Too great an accumulation of stress can lead to total exhaustion. The ‘go for broke’ syndrome may then manifest itself regularly. There are several situations in my life or society in general that I find abnormal. I always look elsewhere for what may be right under my nose. I have an insatiable need to have the best in any area.

When the surrenals are in harmony, I feel in symbiosis with all of earth’s creatures. I accept to get rid of my defeatist attitude, and I decide to set myself a goal in life. I adopt a simple lifestyle and become more open, and I find my balance. I have confidence in what the material world can bring me (safety and protection). I get up full of energy in the morning, I feel like living, and I am able to take action. I become aware of what I truly desire. I stroll.
