The Experience
Do you feel at home inside your body?
Not being at “home” can take its toll on you emotionally & you may frequently feel anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, or angry.
The body receives an external stimulation, which creates a sensation , which creates a need , which creates a feeling , which creates an impulse and this impulse has a real energetic power!
These blockages create the molds of life, those molds are what we are identifying ourselves. In order to create a healing process, we have to make personal changes and changes in our patterns of behavior.
There are three levels of blockages:
1. Muscles and tendons blockages.
2. Internal organs and energetic blockages.
3. Heart and emotional blockages.
Debbie looks for the emotional stagnations and blockages that are stuck in our bodies due to various kind of traumas and behaviors we experienced in our life. She uses all the knowledge she has from life and her studies and bring it into the room. She looks at the person as a whole and gives them the best they need at the time.
Movement, dance, and Pilates are a big part of her life so when she meet with the person in the room, she observes the way he/she walks and moves then gives exercises and pointers on how to change posture and exercises for strengthening their bodies.
Debbie works with kids as well, her treatment helps with ADHD and getting the kids back into their bodies.
Debbie works with elements such as Zen Shiatsu, Anma Ampuku, Twina, Japanese acupuncture, Theta healing, and aroma touch.
The benefits of her treatment:
Relief from pain and stress
Long run of change in energy flow, well-being and strengthening the immune system.
The tools that the therapist will use come from ancient Japanese methods, i.e Anma and Ampuku, The therapist was taught by grand master Nir Levi.
Anma is a 5000 years old massage technique that had developed in China but nowadays known as Japanese meridian treatment and considered to be “origin of all methods” because tui-na, Thai massage and shiatsu were developed from it.
Anma is a very dynamic art of healing and has vast variety of manual techniques, such as kneading, pressing, stretching, joints mobilization, tapping and much more. Anma can be very soft and tender or deep and intensive (depending on patient needs and capability). the vast variety of built in techniques makes Anma very progressive and efficient manual therapy method, beyond that, unalike other methods in the field, Anma structures itself around unique professional treatments, healing theories and has its own rhythms.
Ampuku is an abdominal massage that originates from Anma and was separated from it about 400 years ago. It is now primarily used as an abdominal massage to release emotions. The meaning of the word is “palpation of the belly” and it’s a method of bodywork that focuses on the hara (the body’s energy center located in the belly) and in the front of the torso.
Ampuku has two methodologies, one that targets the physiological aspect of ailments, as most of our internal organs are in the belly/hara, and deals with pathologies. The other method targets the emotional aspect, which focuses on the root of diseases and stagnations. In this workshop, we will concentrate on the physiological methodology. We will learn techniques that aim to restore balance and harmony between the internal organs.
Debbie’s experience with Anma and Ampuku:
Debbie met Nir Levi in 1999. She studied Anma and Ampuku with him straight after finishing her diploma in Zen Shiatsu. Ever since then her treatments have been combined using both discipline to work with her patience.
She find that Anma has an amazing effect on people by moving their Qi faster, opening energy points and connecting to the body. She learned a lot from being in Nir Levi’s presence through assisting, watching, teaching and treating.
The session will be performed fully clothed on a mattress and a session will take 60min.
