As part of this Homecoming gathering, SEVA and Laila Masri Studio invite you into a living meditation on return.
We begin around the table.
A nourishing meal is shared in community, an invitation to slow down, arrive fully, and reconnect through the simple ritual of breaking bread together. Conversation unfolds. Presence deepens. The pace of the outside world gently recedes.
From there, we move into a contemplative watercolor linework experience guided by Laila Masri.
Guests are invited into a creative space where nothing needs to be perfected, resolved, or understood. Ink meets water. Gesture meets breath. What is held begins to soften. What is ready to leave is given permission to move.
Each mark becomes a conversation with the present moment. Each wash of color a reminder that life, too, is constantly reshaping itself.
Not a workshop in technique, but an invitation into surrender. A gentle exploration of what emerges when we release the need to control the outcome and allow ourselves to be carried by the intelligence of the creative process.

About Laila
Laila Masri is a Palestinian artist, educator, and long-time member of SEVA community. With over 15 years of experience creating, curating, and exhibiting artwork internationally, her practice explores creativity as a pathway to presence, self-expression, connection, and well-being.
Her notable projects include a large-scale mural and a site-specific installation of 100 paintings at Dubai’s iconic Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Alongside her artistic practice, Laila has spent the past five years facilitating art experiences for adults and children, including neurodiverse learners, creating inclusive spaces that nurture creativity, confidence, and personal growth.
