COVID19 Policy & Travel Requirements
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR Dubai, UAE: The exact requirements will depend largely on which country you’re traveling from. However, a negative PCR test (within 72 hours of arrival), a vaccination certificate, or proof of passing the disease within the last six months is essential.
Emirates Airlines offers a guideline of requirements depending on your country of origin. Please find out more here.
Upon landing in Dubai territory, travelers must wear face protection, comply with the airport’s protocols concerning physical distancing and temperature readings, and follow any other sanitary instructions.
IMPORTANT: Please note that everything is subject to change due to the constantly changing laws and regulations regarding Covid and travel. We suggest you purchase refundable/changeable travel tickets. Let’s trust and pray we can come together!
Our intention is to ensure that everyone who comes to SEVA Experience is safe and feels safe. From the outset, we were determined to place your safety as our key priority and we also anticipated that guidelines would be fluid as knowledge of COVID-19 morphs. On that basis we introduce the following safety protocols:
We commit to the wellbeing of staff, students, and clients, and if they show/have any signs of COVID-19, they will be sent home to follow Dubai Municipality regulations.
Staff will have their temperatures taken and logged daily.
It is down to the individual student or client to take reasonable personal responsibility when taking part in physical activity.
PPE is mandatory, all staff and students will be required to wear PPE on arrival, in-center, and departing the building. Students are not expected to wear PPE whilst in class unless required by Dubai Municipality guidelines. If students wish to wear PPE it is their own personal choice.
For any in-person treatments PPE is required to be worn by the client at all times, and clients will be requested to bring their own masks.
You will be asked to wash your hands before your treatment. Sanitizers will be on offer throughout the center and people will be directed to where they can clean their hands.
We will ensure that social distancing is adhered to throughout the center at all times by staff, students, and clients.
At the time of booking, we request for all students/clients to confirm that neither they nor anyone they have been in close proximity to, have any symptoms related to Covid-19 within the last 14 days.
We ask all staff, students, and clients to agree to have their temperature checked prior to entering the center by a member of staff. If their temperature is above UAE Government guidelines they will not be permitted to enter the premise
Cleaning
If there is a COVID-19 case in the facility, We will follow Dubai Municipality Guidance while cleaning all areas of the facility.
Staff will carry out regular cleaning of high-contact touchpoints throughout the premises every day.
Therapists will clean treatment rooms between every treatment. This includes removing all linen and wiping down the bed and all surfaces and touchpoints.
Gloves are not mandatory as the World Health Organisation (WHO) advice is that it is preferable not to wear gloves but to regularly wash your hands.
We have ensured necessary processes are in place to make sure social distancing is adhered to at all times for all staff, students, and clients with 2m spacing marketing on the floor and if necessary outside the entrance.
Changing Room/Showers/Toilets
Our changing rooms and showers will not be available for common use. Toilets will be accessible and sanitized regularly. Social distancing and sanitizing measures will apply.
Group Classes Studio
Social distancing reduces class capacity. Maximum 8 students per class.
To help reduce crowding at reception pre-booking is required.
All classes must be pre-booked to ensure you have a place in our lower capacity, socially distanced studios.
Rolled, cleaned studio mats will be 2-meter apart. If you want to bring your own mat, no problem. We ask for all staff and students to follow the social distancing guidelines (2m) at all times. We have changed our studio layouts to allow for appropriate space between each mat. Mats are placed prior to each class or group session and we request students not to move them.
Studio rooms will be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly before and after your class
All staff are wearing PPE
Temperature checks when you arrive and hand sanitizer is available before you come in and throughout our studios and center – please use regularly
Face masks to be worn in our center apart from on the mat
We are asking students ideally to arrive dressed for their class wherever possible
There will be a minimum 30-minute window in between classes for thorough cleaning and sanitization, so no ‘waiting around’ in groups. All mats, cushions, and blankets are sanitized or replaced between sessions.
We will provide mats but recommend that students bring their own mat and any props that they would like to use. The use of SEVA props will be kept to an absolute minimum and they, along with our mats, will be sanitized after being used.
